The Challenge and Response in Maharashtra
We all know, that the world is fighting a pandemic, situation is hitting very badly in India mostly in Maharashtra. The thing is that not to be neglected is that Pune city is considered as the city of the best Ayurveda physicians or hub of Ayurveda. Since last year we all have been dealing with the COVID situation and have treated many cases through pure Ayurveda treatment along with allopathic treatment. But the disappointing thing is people are not that aware and serious about our traditional science, so we are trying to submit the results and proofs to the government.
In the first wave of the corona, patients had mild to moderate symptoms. But in 2021, in the second wave, the strain made havoc in the country and caused sudden deaths even after patients tested negative for COVID-19.
The Impact of Negligence vs. The Success of Ayurvedic Intervention
A Cautionary Tale
One of my patient’s relatives had some pre-symptoms of fever and throat infection but they neglected the symptoms and were on home remedies and paracetamol for almost 1 week when symptoms increased they needed to rush to the hospital. HRCT score was 17 and many private hospitals refused to admit the patient SPO2 87. Other parameters were also a little bit raised and had a history of hypertension from the age of 48 years. When he was admitted, all the parameters became stable after 3 days but on 4 th day sudden drop in SPO2, and had a massive heart attack and the patient expired within a few hrs. This happens cause of negligence.
The Ayurvedic Approach: A Positive Outcome
Positive case study with Ayurveda. Almost all the paths in science are struggling to give the best treatment in this pandemic. Since, August 2019 I have been giving ayurvedic medicines to my COVID-19-positive patients they have not had any complications and are living healthy lifestyles. Where some patients are running behind to get an allocation of a single bed, people who have taken ayurvedic medicines have recovered at home and earlier than those who depend only on allopathic medicines.
It’s just that I didn’t make them realize these things because during this pandemic many of them are in severe shock that their whole family is positive and how can they overcome these issues. If you trust Ayurveda, you can just give it a try and see the results.
