The most important issue these days is PCOS. Today we see that at least one in five women has PCOS. No doctor or scientist has yet figured out what caused it. One guess is that a changed lifestyle, eating and drinking, or innate moods, mean that if parents have certain illnesses, those illnesses will come to children.
Sitting down and working increases abdominal pressure, which is an unintentional exercise of the reproductive system. What happens is that there is pressure on the reproductive system and, the rate of detection of PCOS or PCOD is negligible. As girls get older, they produce one seed per month and, you see a lot of hormonal changes.
The point is that obesity is on the rise as girls age. 80% of those who suffer from PCOS suffer from obesity. In Ayurveda, this is why we put more emphasis on our lifestyle and diet.
What is PCOS? How exactly to Identify?
PCOS is a lifestyle disorder. This involves the formation of small water-filled blisters on a woman’s ovaries, called cysts. It is called Poly as it forms a lot. In the photo below you can see that a pearl-like covering has formed around the ovum It is called Polycystic Ovary.
PCOS stands for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
Some of the symptoms of PCOS are not immediately recognizable or if we are young then we either ignore it or have very little awareness about it so first of all let us focus on the symptoms:
- Irregular menstruation
- Weight gain
- Hair loss or dryness in the hair
- Hair growth in unwanted places, unwanted places. For example, some girls grow hair on the chest, on the chin, or under the chin.
- Pimples
- Androgens are male hormones that grow in the body.
- Laziness persists throughout the day.
- Weight loss will be followed by fatigue and constant tiredness.
As a result, chocolate cysts can form. This means that water lumps can turn into blood clots. I will write in detail in the next part about what is done as a treatment and what can be done.
